Choripán (Grilled Spicy Sausage Sandwich)
A sandwich that was invented in Argentina but is popular across South America today. Its name is a composition of the main ingredients – “Chori” from Chorizo, a grilled spicy sausage and “Pan”, the Spanish word for bread. It is customary to add chimichurri sauce on the bread, an uncooked sauce made of parsley, garlic, olive oil, oregano and red wine vinegar. Served with Ensalada de Palmitos (Heart of Palm Salad) on the side
Prepare Chimichurri sauce 1 hour in advance to develop the flavours.
